Renaissance Craftables organizes the Craft Show portion of this event which is produced by the South 9th Street Italian Market District.
The annual Italian Market Festival is held in one of Philadelphia’s most established neighborhoods—the stretch of South Ninth Street in South Philadelphia, now known as the 9th Street Italian Market.
This area, just south of Center City Philadelphia, has always been a multicultural and vibrant mix of people and businesses. The festival originated in 1971, and was revived for 2003 with a flavor of the old and in keeping with the new face of 9th Street. This is a perfect location for a craft festival.
Artists: Depending upon your location, your booth (tent) will, most likely, be able to remain set-up overnight. Some tents may need to move up onto the sidewalk or set up half way onto the sidewalk.
